Little Angel Theatre is a home for puppetry. Since its doors first opened in 1961 the theatre has been dedicated to creating and sharing inspiring stories. Puppetry is at the heart of this innovative theatre, from igniting the
imaginations of the youngest minds to equipping tomorrow’s puppeteers with the tools they need to succeed. As well as being an internationally recognised theatre with productions touring throughout the UK and across the globe, Little Angel Theatre also has its roots in Islington, and works with its local, diverse community to break down barriers to arts engagement so all can benefit and enjoy this remarkable art form.

Shake, Stretch, Warm Up

We have created a short video warm-up, which we recommend you follow and complete 15mins before the start of your dance session to make sure your body is ready to get moving and to minimise any risk of injury. We also recommend you wear comfortable clothing and work in a clear, open space. [Please note: This video was originally recorded ahead of a live Zoom session. Please disregard the reference to a 4pm session at the end of the video since this is now out of date.]

Our Learning, Education and Participation (LEAP) team have created a series of online tutorials from home to help your flex your creative muscles while the Theatre is closed. Visit cft.org.uk/take-part to learn more about the work of the LEAP department and our outreach projects. If you can, please help us by making a donation to our special emergency appeal to support some of the vital work we’re doing to keep people connected. Visit cft.org.uk/keep-CFT-connected to donate.

Chichester Festival Theatre is one of the UK’s flagship theatres, renowned for the exceptionally high standard of its productions as well as its work with the community and young people. Situated in a cathedral city in West Sussex between the South Downs and the sea, the Festival Theatre’s bold thrust stage design makes it one of England’s most striking playhouses; a studio theatre, the Minerva Theatre, sits nearby.
