Laura shows you how to make a paper plate firework display to celebrate Bonfire night. Download the template: https://bit.ly/3oZ0OGc
For this craft activity, you will need: our template of the houses of parliament (or you can draw your own), a white piece of paper, two paper plates, blue and black tissue paper, coloured pencils, scissors, glue, sellotape, two lollipop sticks, split pins and sequins or other decorations.
This is a craft activity you can do at home. You may need an adult to help you with some of the cutting.
In 1605 Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of parliament by putting lots of gunpowder in the basement. Now he didn't succeed, thankfully, so every year on the 5th of November we celebrate Bonfire Night in the UK.

Little Angel Theatre is a home for puppetry. Since its doors first opened in 1961 the theatre has been dedicated to creating and sharing inspiring stories. Puppetry is at the heart of this innovative theatre, from igniting the imaginations of the youngest minds to equipping tomorrow’s puppeteers with the tools they need to succeed. As well as being an internationally recognised theatre with productions touring throughout the UK and across the globe, Little Angel Theatre also has its roots in Islington, and works with its local, diverse community to break down barriers to arts engagement so all can benefit and enjoy this remarkable art form.
