Oh Daisy Donkey why so lazy? You know Miles the Wiley Merchant will never let you lie in the sun all day!

This is a funny fable about Daisy the mischievous donkey who’s always trying to get out of doing her fair share of the work and Miles the greedy Merchant who is always determined to make as much money as he can. Can they teach each other a lesson and find a way to live and work in peace?

Find out in this fun story performed by Stute Theatre's Sophia Hatfield. This piece was originally created in 2020 as part of Spot On Lancashire's Spot On Stories season.

Lions are fierce creatures. They hunt and stalk their prey with fearsome might. A lion’s roar is so loud, it can be heard for miles!
But Aesop the Lion is a little bit shy. He prefers munching broccoli to hunting prey and never ever uses his roar. When he accidentally steps on a courageous mouse called Minta, Aesop has to find his voice and help his new friend.

With original live music, puppetry and creative storytelling, join our storyteller Soph for a tale of friendship, kindness and finding the courage to be yourself.

In this fun adaptation, the classic fable is brought to life for a young audience! Suitable for children aged 3+ (and their grown ups).

Storyteller Soph has travelled all over the world collecting exciting stories.
But, lately, she’s been spending a lot of time at home. Luckily she’s discovered a fantastic book of fables to help her pass the time.

From Aesop the friendly Lion, Harriet the boastful Hare and Tim the chilled-out Tortoise, join Soph on an imaginative adventure from the kitchen table, as she brings some of Aesop’s best-loved animal characters to life.

With beautiful songs, creative puppetry and a little bit of theatre magic, this live family show features everything except the kitchen sink!
